Guide on Why Sexual Health and Personal Hygiene Is Important

Sexual Health and Hygiene

Have you ever come across someone who has a gnatty beard or BAAAAD body odour? I bet you have at least once in your life.Remember how repulsed you were and went like “Hmm… I wish this person would have a bath once in a while.” Well, everybody knows the importance of personal hygiene, right? Let me just tell you, that is not the only hygiene to look out for.

Ladies and gentlemen, do not let deodorants and perfumes fool your senses. There is a type of hygiene which may not be as accessible as body odor or bad breath. There’s something vaguely called sex hygiene too. One needs to make sure that they and their sexual partners maintain good standards of genital hygiene.

“But I do wash myself properly when I am having a bath. Isn’t that enough?”

To a certain extent, but it does not reach to the DEPTHS OF WHERE THE SUN DON’T SHINE.

Do not worry, here’s your knight in shining ‘armor’, to tell you how you can clean your sword and scabbard. Now that’s a graphic analogy. Swiftly moving on. Why is it important to maintain good personal hygiene?

One of the most important aspects of maintaining good sexual hygiene is keep the bushes in your garden well kempt.

YES! Keeping the pubic region clean cut and neat is quite an essential part of maintaining good sexual hygiene.

This reduces the chances of infections or boils which may be caused due to sweat, especially in the summers.

However it needn’t be a replica of a baby’s smooth bum either, things grow – even babies.

Coming to pre-sex techniques, and I think relevant to recent times as well, is washing hands. Now I know you are wondering if this really is necessary but trust me, it is for hygiene sex.

You don’t know where the hands have been peeping. But you know where they want to go. You do not want to take a risk with this one.

Oh, and one more side tip, keep the nails cut and kept as well… no need for gore, ya!

This one is for the women! Apparently there are higher chances of developing body odor if one has sex during the first two days of the menstrual cycle.

Now which part of the anatomy odour – the study didn’t say. So you have two choices, wait a few days and enjoy it more.

You can call it “coming fashionably late”, or wash, wipe and dry. Golden rules of sexual hygiene

Finally, we reach a very important section of “What about after?

I think it is quite obvious that after hot and steamy sex, it is time for a thorough cleaning of the body. But how thorough you ask?

Let us explain why personal hygiene is important for women.

Well, for women, it is extremely important to wash (with clean water) from around the vagina region to posterior region (yes, this is the alternate term for butt).

This helps prevent transfer of germs or develop a yeast infection. For men, mainly uncircumcised, it is important to pull back your foreskin and clean around the tip with (clean) water.

This will help prevent any bacterial growth and get rid of any dead cells or fluids. We know what that means…

To conclude, it is fair to say that “Clean Sex is Dream Sex”
