Me pulling myself out of a serious relationship was really hard. I was heartbroken, sad, lonely, but still in search of true love. <\/span><\/p>\n

I am the kind of person who believes that one bad experience can\u2019t shake my deep-rooted belief that true love is for everyone. <\/span><\/p>\n

So I started all over again and tried my luck at online dating on TrulyMadly<\/a><\/strong>. It was a very impromptu decision, but this very random decision got me Sumit. Yes, we both met online on TrulyMadly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One fine day I was randomly scrolling through profiles one after another, and my eyes caught Sumit\u2019s profile.<\/span><\/p>\n

I kind of liked what I saw, and within no time, I clicked on the LIKE icon. Surprisingly, it was a match in the next 2 hours, and the next thing I remember is we were having a conversation. Yeah!!<\/span><\/p>\n

It was through our conversations we discovered that we both are die-heart fans of street momos. <\/span><\/p>\n

So it has to be the Momo date for both of us. Yes, it was our first date, and for me, it was enough to know Sumit as a person.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I still remember; he was so full of joy and so talkative. By the end of the date, I knew all about him, his hobbies, his family, his parents, his friends, and other things about his life. <\/span><\/p>\n

I, on the other hand, was a bit reluctant as it was all so soon and I wasn\u2019t quite sure. He respected that, and I liked it a lot about him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eventually, things turned out to be different with him. We started talking every day, and our dates were also frequent. I could see myself falling in love no matter how much I resisted.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the best feeling in the world when you love someone, and the same gets reciprocated. I knew the feelings were mutual.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Unconventional Proposal: <\/b>I clearly remember it was our third date. I planned on proposing to him with a rose in my hands, I on my knees. <\/span><\/p>\n

The bad news is I didn\u2019t get a rose, so I had to propose to him with an onion in my hand (lol). He had tears in his eyes. Still trying to figure out if it was because of the proposal or the onion (kidding).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was not an immediate yes from his side as he needed some time. He went back to Kolkata only to say a YES after a month and a half.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since then, we have been inseparable. We are madly in love, so much so that we are planning to get married soon.<\/span><\/p>\n
