Style #1 \u2013 Outrageous<\/h2>\n

Nikita<\/strong> \u2013 Hey cutie, *winks, walks up close<\/em>*, you want to go to the disco with me?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikhil<\/strong> \u2013 *Baffled, astonished, and feeling cocky<\/em>* Sure, but you’ve got to buy my drinks. *winks*<\/span><\/p>\n

Lesson<\/strong>: Play to the boy’s ego; if he’s feeling too manly *mustache\/heavy beard + gruff accent<\/em>*, don’t ask him out, instead talk about home and his mother. If he’s shy, probe him like above!<\/p>\n

Style #2 \u2013 From the movies!<\/h2>\n

Nikita<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 Hey, you! There, in the corner, shall we?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikhil<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 Who me? *hoping she says yes*. Where to?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 How about we crash the 11 PM show? Maybe if things go well, we can make this a habit? *winks*<\/span><\/p>\n

Lesson:<\/b> Every guy wants to be asked out, just too shy to admit; if you think you’re into him, give it a shot, be a little bold with a movie one-liner to get over the awkwardness in case it crashes!<\/span><\/p>\n

Style #3 \u2013 Where there’s a will, there’s a way!<\/h2>\n

Texting……….<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 Listen, no, I think we shouldn’t be just friends. <3<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikhil<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 Huh?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 I mean, coming to think of it, we’re always chatting about so much. <3<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikhil<\/em>:<\/b> What’s that funny symbol you end convos with?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 Oh! It’s love.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikhil<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 *Faints*<\/span><\/p>\n

Lesson:<\/b> Don’t be scared to punch in your feelings bluntly, tell him what’s going on, ask him to take you out before he’s out!<\/span><\/p>\n

Style #4 \u2013 Done and done!<\/h2>\n

On the phone……….<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 Will you go out with me?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikhil<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 Sure, let me think actually, let me ask my parents first.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 *Awed and confused* your parents?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikhil<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 Yes, I tell them everything.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lesson:<\/b> Boys tell their moms everything, period. Trying to ask him out, do it face to face, phone calls hide so much emotion!<\/span><\/p>\n

Style #5 \u2013 Is this a date?<\/h2>\n

Nikhil<\/em> and Nikita<\/em> have seen each other for a while, going for movies, coffees, lunches, walks, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> \u2013 So, you want to be my boyfriend or what?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikhil<\/strong> \u2013 *foolish grin* \u2013 K, I think we should make it public now.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikita<\/strong> \u2013 Whoa whoa whoa, who said anything about making it public? We have to wait for that.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lesson:<\/b> Dudes love telling the world about you if they are sure, what’s the harm?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hope you go out (pun not intended), ask that interesting person whom you met the other day out on a date, don’t be shy; we’ve all goofed up!<\/span><\/p>\n
